RedBD Updated The New Color Chart
Redbd.co.uk updated the color chart at the end of April to rich the choices and reduce the probability of chromatic aberration. Let's check the details.
Before, we used the old color chart, just 12 colors that are mainly shades of red colors. The disadvantage of this color chart is that it is not depended on any fabric, just electronics. And now, the new color chart includes 28 colors that includes not only shades of red colors, but also shades of purple colors. And all the colors are shown in chiffon fabrics, 99% of our dresses are chiffon dresses. WE DO OUR BEST TO REDUCE THE PROBABILITY OF CHROMATIC ABERRATION. However, we can not guarantee that the color of dress you get will be 100% similar as the color chart because of the computer screens have chromatic aberration, hope everyone can understand that.

8 Ways To Make Your Bridesmaids Happy
Do NOT forget to make your girls happy when you are preparing for your big day. RedBD share 8 easy ways to keep your best girls sweet throughout the wedding planning process, until to the big day itself...
1.Make introduction
Set a date for proper introductions between your bridesmaids. They are all your favorite girls and you must want them to get along, discuss the wedding and dresses details and so on. Do not just leave it to the hen party night and the actual day.
2.Consider their budgets
They will feel honoured that you’ve asked them to be part of your special day, but it shouldn’t cost them an arm and a leg. Consider your girls’ financial situations before you start making them buy their own dresses. And of course, some brides pay for their bridesmaids.
3.Give them options
If you want mismatched bridesmaids, then give them options to discuss which style do they want to have. If you want them same, also give them options to discuss means you are not the “bed guy”, and the disagreeable bridesmaid is. RedBD recommend mismatched bridesmaids dresses for your girls, just like the above picture shows, shades of burgundy bridesmaids dresses.
4.No favouritism
No one wants tension or jealousy between the bridesmaids, so do not have the favourites, or make people compete to be your favorite. If you have a maid of honor, make this clear.
5.Think how they feel
It's your big day. Something the bridesmaids may not say out. Maybe they are not comfortable in their dresses? Maybe they feel you’re giving them too many tasks? Think about your maids and always ask if they’re okay.
6.Plan ahead
Maybe you want your girls help you to organise things like an emergency DIY craft. Do not expect them to drop everything just because you have an emergency call unless let your maids know it in good time.
7.Provide alternation
Provide a comfy alternative like flip flops or flats, the girls will love u so much. You can understand the pain that wear high heels in whole day.
8.Be generous
Nothing will make them feel more special than a personal gift from you, the bride, and it will be a perfect keepsake from your wedding, too. Overall, be the coolest bride you can be – treat your bridesmaids well, and they will return the favour!

4.Wearing Right Shoes
If the ceremony is in outdoor, such as beach sand or backyard grass, you’ll need to think carefully about the footwear such as flat sandals or wedges.

You’ll have a pair of panda eyes after running around for a few hours in hot day. How to avoid? Use a great primer and a setting spray to keep everything where it belongs.
6.Packing An”emergency kit”
It’s an absolute must for any wedding to pack an “emergency kit” because last minute panics do happen, and you’ll want to be prepared for anything.

Bridesmaid Dresses Proper Care & Storage
Dresses, especially those with special designs and fabric needs to be taken care of. After attending a wedding celebration, of course you don't want to ruin your pretty dress. We, girls, always wanted to preserve our dresses and make it look as new. RedBD wants to help you on how to take proper care for your bridesmaid dresses.
Here are some tips from RedBD on how to store your dress properly.
1.Clean up your closet and organize your dresses. See to it that dresses of the same type of fabric comes together so that that it would not mix up with the others with different fabric components. Why this is very important? It is because, some types of fabric may cause damage, like for example those colored ones that fades or has the ability to stain other fabrics with its color.
2.Beaded dresses are one of the most delicate and fragile to handle. From cleaning to ironing, it must be handled with so much care. In storing them, find a suitable hanger which will not ruin the beaded fabric. If you can imagine, some metal hangers could become rusty in the future. You might wanna choose the plastic one. Or the wooden hanger will do. Hang them on a clean closet.
3.According to some sources, it is not advisable to use plastic bags when putting a dress into a long term storage. Plastic covers contain chemicals which may mix up and cause damage to your dress. They can still be used in short term storage but never use them for a long time.
4.If you don't wanna mix it up with the others, find a box, fold it in and store in a cool dry place. In using a box, it is advisable for you to use and acid free tissue paper. Put it in between folds to avoid creasing of the fabric and touching other parts of the dress.
5.Another good idea is to store it inside a single canvas box. Canvas box is made of cloth, so, it won't harm your dress. No chemicals but be sure to still use the tissue on the folds and on the base of the box. This is to take extra care of your dress fabric and the beads/design.
6.Always make sure to change or clean storage boxes and closet.

How to Clean a Bridesmaid Dress After a Wedding
After attending a wedding, first thing that pops out our mind is how to clean our precious dresses. Bridesmaid dress is not just an ordinary dress. It must be handled with care if we want to wear them again. Having trouble? RedBD is giving out some tips and suggestions on how to clean your bridesmaid dress.
1. Know the type of fabric
There are different types of fabric that requires a proper way of cleaning. The best thing to do first is to know what type of fabric your dress is because there are types that doesn't need to be washed or only requires dry cleaning.
2.Check the tags or labels
At the inside part of your dress, there are tags attached which may give you an idea on how to clean your dress. It might require dry cleaning or hand washing. Some dresses would put warnings like "dry clean only" and "washing machine not advisable". Beaded dresses should be taken caution when washing.
3.Fabric/ Dress details
Check the details of your bridesmaid dress. If it is heavily beaded then you might need to hand wash them. Putting it to the washer might ruin the beading or untangle the laces. For dresses of this kind, hand washing is the best option.
4.Stained bridesmaids dresses
Stained dresses are the most difficult to treat. If possible don't let stains stay too long in your fabric. You can use a stain remover or if it doesn't come off put a pinch of detergent powder and some water then rub gently. Bath soap bars are known to remove blood and mud stains, too.
5.Hand washing
It is not advisable to use hot water when hand washing because it might stress the fabric. Use mild detergent soap and carefully rub the stained parts.
6.Washer
Zip the dress up and undo the buttons. Turn dress inside out to prevent color fading. Put it in the washer with mild detergent soap and set your preferred time.
7.Drying your dress
Air dry is advised for formal dresses, or dry under a shade. This will prevent the dress color from fading. Heavy dresses are laid down to flat surfaces to prevent from reshaping.
8.Ironing of the dress
Be careful when ironing the dress. Make sure the iron base is clean saw with the iron board cover. This is to prevent marks on the dress. Gently iron it in low heat. It is better to use steam iron for bridesmaid dress fabrics because it is much safer to use.
9.How to store your dress properly
In keeping or storing your dress, it’s best to wrap it with a plastic cover or plastic bag and place it in a clean storage box or closet. Store it in a cool dry place. Change covers regularly.
