8 Ways To Make Your Bridesmaids Happy
Do NOT forget to make your girls happy when you are preparing for your big day. RedBD share 8 easy ways to keep your best girls sweet throughout the wedding planning process, until to the big day itself...
1.Make introduction
Set a date for proper introductions between your bridesmaids. They are all your favorite girls and you must want them to get along, discuss the wedding and dresses details and so on. Do not just leave it to the hen party night and the actual day.
2.Consider their budgets
They will feel honoured that you’ve asked them to be part of your special day, but it shouldn’t cost them an arm and a leg. Consider your girls’ financial situations before you start making them buy their own dresses. And of course, some brides pay for their bridesmaids.
3.Give them options
If you want mismatched bridesmaids, then give them options to discuss which style do they want to have. If you want them same, also give them options to discuss means you are not the “bed guy”, and the disagreeable bridesmaid is. RedBD recommend mismatched bridesmaids dresses for your girls, just like the above picture shows, shades of burgundy bridesmaids dresses.
4.No favouritism
No one wants tension or jealousy between the bridesmaids, so do not have the favourites, or make people compete to be your favorite. If you have a maid of honor, make this clear.
5.Think how they feel
It's your big day. Something the bridesmaids may not say out. Maybe they are not comfortable in their dresses? Maybe they feel you’re giving them too many tasks? Think about your maids and always ask if they’re okay.
6.Plan ahead
Maybe you want your girls help you to organise things like an emergency DIY craft. Do not expect them to drop everything just because you have an emergency call unless let your maids know it in good time.
7.Provide alternation
Provide a comfy alternative like flip flops or flats, the girls will love u so much. You can understand the pain that wear high heels in whole day.
8.Be generous
Nothing will make them feel more special than a personal gift from you, the bride, and it will be a perfect keepsake from your wedding, too. Overall, be the coolest bride you can be – treat your bridesmaids well, and they will return the favour!
